Overview
The M&R QUATRO CUTTER XY is a DTF transfer film cutter built for the M&R QUATRO DTF Transfer Printing System. It automates cutting printed and cured PET film into individual transfers, cutting along both the X-axis and the Y-axis for one-piece-flow, just-in-time production.
A blade-on-belt system cuts at up to 27" per second over a 25" x 34" maximum cut area. Film feeds on a friction system and is held flat by vacuum suction, and a digital camera reads crop marks and QR codes so every transfer is cut where it was printed.
Cut jobs are set up on a 7" color touchscreen, with USB, LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity. The CUTTER XY runs as a standalone cutting station after printing and curing. M&R sells the CUTTER XY to shops purchasing a QUATRO DTF printer.
