Overview
The M&R Fusion 36-6-4 is an infrared electric screen printing conveyor dryer with a 36" belt, a 6' (72") heat chamber and four height-adjustable radiant panels, plus a 30" infeed and 24" outfeed. M&R rates the Fusion as the most energy-efficient and highest-capacity electric conveyor dryer in its class.
A digital control panel sets and displays temperature and belt speed. PID temperature control powers the dryer up gradually to avoid peak amperage at warm-up, phases heat on and off during production and holds the chamber within 1° of target at the thermocouple. Heavy-duty insulation and CoolSkin technology keep heat in the chamber and the cabinet cool to the touch, and an automatic shutdown sequence keeps the blower and belt running until the chamber has cooled.
A heavy-duty, variable-speed DC motor drives M&R's Teflon-coated fiberglass Patriot Belt. A red silicone guide stitched along one edge rides in grooves machined into the anodized aluminum SureTrak rollers, keeping the belt tracking straight. With its legs folded, Fusion fits on its side through a 31" doorway. It is a strong production dryer for a manual or small automatic press, or a sampling dryer for a midsize shop.
